Active & Creative Kids Vouchers
The NSW Government is helping kids get active with the Active & Creative Kids Voucher program.
The Program will provide two $50 vouchers each calendar year to eligible parents, guardians and carers of school-aged children to use towards a creative or physical activity each year, including swimming lessons!
The purpose of the Program is to:
- assist low-to-middle-income families meet the costs of accessing sport and recreational and/or creative and cultural activities;
- encourage school-aged children from low-to-middle-income families to participate in sport and recreational and/or creative and cultural activities; and
- support the wellbeing of school-aged children from low-to-middle-income families.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the voucher, a child must be:
- under the care of a parent, guardian or carer receiving:
- Family Tax Benefit Part A
- Family Tax Benefit Part B
- both Family Tax Benefit Part A and Family Tax Benefit Part B
- a NSW resident
- aged between 4.5 and 18 years.
If you have more than one eligible child, you can apply for them in the same application.
Only one person can apply for the vouchers for a child.

How long are the vouchers valid?
Voucher 1 – 2024: Available from term 1
- Applications open: 1 February 2024
- Apply for and use the voucher by: 31 December 2024
Voucher 2 – 2024: Available from term 3
- Applications open: 15 July 2024
- Apply for and use the voucher by: 14 July 2025
Can I use the voucher for swimming lessons at the Oasis?
Yes, vouchers can be used for our Swim School program.
What can’t the voucher be used for?
Vouchers cannot be:
- split between more than one provider
- redeemed for cash, gift vouchers or credit notes
- used for ineligible activities or items.
